OUR PROCESS

  • Meet & Agree
  • Idea & Concept
  • Design & Create
  • Build & Install

The initial consultation provides an opportunity for the Client and the Interior Designer to meet, to discuss the scope of the project, and to determine whether or not to work together on the project. Fees and compensation are discussed before any work begins.

After the initial consultation and the agreement to proceed, the Interior Designer develops a design concept based on the information which was collected from the initial meeting and then prepares preliminary layouts and/or drawings which support that concept. Any necessary design research is conducted and a meeting is scheduled to discuss the project ideas and concepts.

After the Client approves the preliminary ideas and the design concept, the Interior Designer proceeds with the project by selecting and specifying products and materials and by further detailing the layouts and drawings that are required for implementation. A proposal detailing the services and products, prices, and terms of the agreement is submitted to the Client for approval.

After the Client signs the proposal and returns it to the Interior Designer along with any specified deposits, the Interior Designer places orders, schedules the contractors, and conveys the project timeline to the Client. The Interior Designer will periodically visit the jobsite when the work begins to assure that the project is being completed according to the approved design proposal. Any project concerns or modifications are presented to the Client for approval.
